Watch Webinar Recording below!

August Webinar Recording [Speaker 2] (0:00 - 5:19) Safe. Safe number amounts. As you count the cash-to-logs, each cash-to-log is going to have that threshold. Know whether you're safe or an actual register. When you're adding them in here, if we add a fourth register and we say each register needs to have $100 in it, a registry gets created. You can total it up. And once the threshold matches, you can save those changes. It requires signatures, so a leader has to sign off on it. And then a team member as well, if you let team members count their own drawers. Along with that, there will always be that history. So you'll always, you know, just like everything else in OneClick, we never delete any of the data. So you'll have an entire history of that cash till attached to it where you'll easily be able to scroll back and forth and see the history on a register. So this would be an example here. Zoom keeps popping up more things on my screen. You can go see where the discrepancy was. It'll show you what was in each drawer. We're getting this 100 and these 20s updated for you here so you can actually read it easily. But you'll be able to see, you know, if it's off, you'll be able to see was it pennies, nickels, dollar bills, five dollars, ten, so on and so forth. The next update is email threshold notifications for infractions. So it's just underneath your email notifications in your settings page. You'll be able to set those thresholds. And that's the thresholds for your penalties in your store when they hit a certain level on your penalties. This is what it's associated with and how they'll get the notification. And you're able to customize the amount when you want those thresholds to happen. You can select different leaders for each threshold. One of the phase two improvements that I got feedback for that we're going to add here is being able to select permission levels too if you just want, hey, I want every shift leader to be notified when they have a low threshold. But currently you can select them individually. We still have the ability to manually type in email addresses as well. So if you have an email address that's not associated with OneClick for one reason or another, you can add that email address in manually. And like I mentioned, same functionality, but you can just customize who gets each level of a threshold email notifications. And it's sent automatically. Once you put this in your settings, you go give an infraction. And if they reach that point level, it automatically will send that infraction to your email in seconds to be notified that a discussion needs to happen with that team member and who it needs to happen with based on how you handle accountability in your store. So those are the two big things we had come out this week. Obviously, the developers are hard at work making some improvements every release on the back end as well. So they did some user experience improvements to just make that smoother. Hopefully, you'll notice that as you go along. In this next development phase, the two main things we're focused on is the move out in-app store and the checklist logic. So we have big plans for checklists to make them more functional and usable for your store. This first phase that'll be out in two weeks is just going to improve the usability of checklists. You won't see any UI improvements on this first phase, but it'll just be a lot smoother, less bugs. You should have no issues with the functionality once we get this release out in two weeks. Then we're going to start developing all the features that they all put in Kanye and sent me individually to get developed there. Super excited about the moolah store. I know it's a big thing that a lot of stores ask for where you'll be able to upload images or items to the app and team members will be able to spend those moolah dollars directly in the app. You won't have to do it manually outside of OneClick. They can redeem and deduct those rewards dollars based on your reward system in the app. Any questions from the team? [Speaker 1] (5:20 - 5:25) Brian, can we quickly review forms and documents as well? That's something that we're also working on. [Speaker 2] (5:26 - 7:12) Yeah, yeah, of course. So forms and documents, I know it's a big thing that y'all are asking for, you know, in the sense of a uniform order form. You want to upload a sick note into OneClick so you can keep all your documents and forms in the same place. AJ, one of our great developers, has already got the basis for forms built. And after we take care of notifications, the moolah store and checklist, that's the next thing on our list, is improving forms and reports. So you'll be able to track meals with forms, like I mentioned, uniform order forms. Think in the sense of Google Forms, basically any kind of document you want to create that will always live there. And kind of the functionality we're building behind it is if Kevin goes and fills out a form, we'll have an employee file folder in Kevin's profile with that form will automatically go to him. You'll get a notification that Kevin filled out that form. So there'll be a history in his profile. And you'll also just be able to upload any type of document as well. Like I mentioned, you know, Brian calls out sick, I got to bring a doctor's note to let him know, hey, how was that? I was at the doctor. You know, you'll be able to take a picture, scan that document, and upload it into OneClick under Kevin's or my profile so that you can see the history of all the documents. Serve safe certifications. If you're a store that does that, you'll be able to upload those into OneClick to see who has one, see who doesn't. So super excited about those improvements as well. [Speaker 1] (7:13 - 7:51) Great. We're getting lots of comments in the chat. You guys are welcome to add those, any feedback. I will have Brian assess this after and be able to pass along any of that feedback to our team. One question, though, Don had a question is, you know, they're in a high compliance state for breaks, and they're finding that the sensitivity of sending someone on a break, the button click has been very sensitive, and they've been accidentally sending people on break. So that's a great question. I'm not sure Kevin, Brian, Abby, anyone, if you guys have any ideas of how we can help them manage that better. Maybe it is something that we need to send off to development. But I think it's a good question to see if anyone has any ideas. [Speaker 2] (7:54 - 8:24) Yeah, I think, Don, I'll take that question. I'll take that back to my development team. Because I think what it sounds like you're saying is, you know, you'll be trying to drag and drop somebody and you accidentally click and send them on break. And if you're in a high compliance state, California is always the first one that comes to my mind. It could mess up with your break tracking. So I'll look into that and see if we can make it a little more or a little less sensitive, where you kind of have to force click it. [Speaker 6] (8:24 - 9:01) I think they're scrolling. Scrolling is, like, they'll go up and down looking at the breaks and lunches and they accidentally, like, if your finger just touches it wrong, it'll actually mark that a break or lunch was taken as an example, or you can accidentally go the opposite direction. And we're finding that just roughly, you know, 40, 40 some percent of the times it's not right. And it's very tedious to go in a time punch and have to re-figure it out because we also have them use the POS to clock in and out, have the record since we are high compliance. So I would love for one click just to be just a smidge less sensitive so I can believe the report. Does that make sense? [Speaker 2] (9:02 - 9:21) No, 100 percent. I'll see. We'll look into some ideas off the top of my head. I'm thinking about a force click or a hard press. So you kind of have to press in on the iPhone to actually do it. So I'll look into that and I'll reach back out to you directly, Dawn, when I've got some answers for you. [Speaker 1] (9:22 - 9:23) Thanks, Brian. [Speaker 2] (9:23 - 9:24) Of course. [Speaker 1] (9:26 - 9:35) Great. And do we want to mention anything about our sales and labor forecasting? It's in testing right now. Do we want to talk about that at all? [Speaker 2] (9:36 - 10:39) Yeah, I can. Some of these people in the room have been involved in that testing. We're super excited about it. We kind of just wrapped up Phase 1 with a lot of your help. Shout out to Ruben. I see his name in there. I apologize if I leave somebody else off the list, but he did some great work with us, helping us with that. So we just wrapped up Phase 1. We're going to work on some improvements and get it rolled out to Phase 2 and do some more testing. If we missed you on Phase 1, because me and Bree really appreciated all the volunteers we had, we had so many people willing to help us and develop this new tool so you can schedule and forecast your labor better. So super excited about that. Still in the early stages, but we're working hard. It's also one of our top development priorities and we're going to have some stuff ready for production here soon to help you make your schedule. Super excited to see the final product and get you switched over to our scheduling tool. [Speaker 5] (10:40 - 11:50) Can I just jump in for a second? Just for everybody's information, this Phase 1 that we're talking about here is literally just uploading sales data for your historical year or more and being able to show what the forecasted sales are estimated to be for the same day this year. And we have some abilities to modify the sales goals, etc. But this is the foundation of a completely brand new forecast demand scheduling tool that will eventually replace hot schedules for you. So if you're interested in getting rid of hot schedules and you have some time, and Ruben, thank you for your time. I watched the video yesterday. We would really love to have your help and feedback on how we can make this scheduling tool better. So thank you. [Speaker 1] (11:52 - 12:39) Awesome. Thank you for that. And if anyone has any questions, please reach out. I did put the link to that CANI post in the chat. So if you'd like to upload it, we do put updates in there on a regular basis, especially if we need testers. We'll put in there, hey, we need some testing groups to do this. Great. Anything else? Any other questions? You're welcome to come off of mute and ask. Okay. Great. We're going to go ahead and continue here. Thank you, Brian, for your updates. Okay. Next is Tips and Tricks. This is by our beloved Kevin Allen, our Senior Support Specialist, which I'm sure a lot of you have worked directly with him. So Kevin, we're going to have you come off of mute. Do you want to share your screen or can I keep my screen share up? [Speaker 3] (12:40 - 12:43) Yeah, if you just want to show the checklist, that would be great. [Speaker 1] (12:45 - 12:57) Ah, checklists. Show checklists on our QA store? Yep. Okay. Let me share over here. Let me make sure I'm in the right store. Yep. Okay. Great. [Speaker 3] (12:59 - 15:28) So the Tips and Tricks today is going to be how you can assign a checklist or a person to a just like Brie is demonstrating there. If you drag it like she's doing there where it's in the kind of collapsed view, it'll do the first section. So in that demo one where it has two, it'll go to the first section and then the second section, as you can see with the two dots there. And then if she put another one in, it would go to the first section again. So if you do Isaiah there and then open that up, you can see Chris and Isaiah are on the first section and then Elise is on the second section. The other way to assign, so there's three ways. We just did it the first way. The second way is to do that auto schedule, which we should rename to auto assign. But when you click on that, it will attach every single person that is not assigned to a checklist and it will double check, have you done this checklist before? Can you do this checklist and kind of do some fancy algorithm to determine? Yes, you can. Let's assign it to you and it will assign all of the sections or attempts to some of those ones that are locked like the director or that one that she's showing there is a shift leader one. All the people aren't a shift leader or higher and so probably can't be assigned to it. Cool. And then the third way is an auto assign. So if you want to go to the layout editor here, Bree. Yep, settings. There you go. Now click on any position and you can see this associated checklist down just a little bit right there. And so you can select, let's say, that monthly persistent one. So then any time that you put a team member and assuming that Bree saved it, anytime you put a team member in that front counter bagging section will automatically be assigned to all of the sections in that monthly persistence checklist. And it will be based on that time of day. So at 5 a.m. type of thing, it will show that front counter bagger. But at 7 a.m., it's a different front counter bagger, even though it's the same position, it could be associated with a different checklist. So maybe you have a morning checklist that you want them to fill out, and then you have an afternoon one and so on. Questions, comments, concerns? Snyder Marx? [Speaker 1] (15:33 - 15:34) Great. [Speaker 3] (15:34 - 15:35) Awesome. [Speaker 1] (15:36 - 16:00) Thank you, Kevin. And like Brian was saying, we are hoping to revamp our checklist. We know that this is a tool that has been pretty powerful for our customers, and it's been one of the most, like one of the original features that we offered. So we're just really excited to make it even more, even more powerful, and we're excited to kind of make it more user-friendly as well. Okay, I'm going to switch. Go ahead. [Speaker 2] (16:00 - 16:25) Real quick, I'll post a link to the checklist canning in the chat as well. If you want any of any features, you scroll through that, you see some that aren't in there that you want added, please make a comment. I'm checking that one all the time to make sure when we build this, it's exactly what you need so we can get these checklists improved and better improve the efficiency of your store. [Speaker 1] (16:26 - 17:21) Great. Thank you, Brian. Okay, so the next thing is our food safety. Here is just a quick update from our partnership, which is with Safer Plates. So Mike McMahon is actually the, he is the owner and founder of Safer Plates, and we've decided to do a partnership with them last month, where you can have access to checklists that allow you to improve your food safety systems inside your store. Those checklists, you do have one for free in your account, so if you look into your checklist settings, you can see that that one is inactive. It's your sanitizing checklist, but there are other ones that you can preview that are for purchase, and we'll be doing some on those and giving away some of those soon, so just be watching for that. But here is a video from Mike, and let me just make sure that I am sharing my sound. Here we go. Should be good. [Speaker 4] (17:23 - 17:37) Hi, I'm Mike McMahon with Safer Plates Consulting. Today we're going to cover five attributes safety excellence. The first attribute is the ability for checklists to create. Attribute would be these checklists provide a consistent evaluation platform. We're going to cover five. [Speaker 1] (17:37 - 18:04) Sorry, it sounds like it cut, so sorry about that. Let me jump to another video that will be better. So sorry. Let's see, let's try this one. Okay, let me try to share this screen and see if it's any better. Okay, here we go. [Speaker 4] (18:04 - 19:03) Today we're going to cover five attributes safety excellence. The first attribute is the ability for checklists to create. Attribute would be these checklists provide a consistent evaluation platform that enable you to document and verify that the standards and requirements that you have placed on your team are being met, and if they're not being met, how they might be falling short in certain areas and what the solutions might be. Again, we just referenced the opportunity for these checklists to be a valuable resource and training tool. It will drive questions, it will drive curiosity, and it will drive an intentional effort on the part of your team to achieve the standards set forth in a way that will improve the food safety culture, create and elevate awareness, and achieve the desired results that you're looking for as it pertains to food safety in your restaurant operation. And lastly, again, the opportunity to document and verify where your team is to achieve the level of food excellence, food safety awareness. Hi. [Speaker 1] (19:04 - 29:59) Okay, so sorry, that did not get processed well, but I really like what Mike was saying, the five items that these food safety checklists can provide, create, communicate, clarify is one thing. Roadmap for excellence is another one, just taking your store to the next level with food safety. Consistent evaluations, the ability to watch those and evaluate how food safety is going. Your training tool, so this provides a really clear path for your new trainees on what is expected with food safety so that they can have a good visual and a good idea of what you guys need to do that for. And then document and verify. So I apologize, the video wasn't great, but you guys get the idea. So I'm going to jump back over here to my screen share. Okay, and then certified champions, you can see this list is overflowing. I actually have two pages here. So I've went on to building a second page, but just want to congratulate those who have become certified champions recently. Thank you for taking the assessment, taking the course. We do have a new course in the academy out, the key leaders one, which does have a workbook included. So if you would like to go back and see what's new, that's perfectly fine. But just wanted to congratulate those people, especially the ones that had 100% on their assessment. Okay, so today's webinar, like I mentioned at the start, is about gamifying your store and gamifying OneClick. This is a really interesting concept that we've been, it's been on our mind for quite a while. And the idea is that we understand that your team members are typically teenage age, and they love games. I mean, that could be a really fun and easy way to to engage them and get them involved and get them excited to come to work. We know a lot of you probably already do games in your store. And so what we're going to do is today is a little interactive, we want to keep this light and fun. So what I'm going to do first is I am going to talk about why gamifying your team can be so helpful. So I will be going over just some things really quickly. And then we're going to go into some ideas of games that I've come up with, while also providing you resources for those games, I'll be able to add a link so you can download those. And then what we'll do is we're going to go to breakout rooms, and you guys are going to work as a team to build, come up with your own game concept. And you'll just work together on what you could potentially build, what that would look like. And then we'll come back and a spokesperson will then present to the room what the game is. And that's a really fun opportunity to bring in another idea that you guys may have maybe combined some ideas that you guys had have had with your store. So we're really excited to do that as well. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to quickly go over here to the next slide, which is, is talking about benefits of adding games to your store. I love games, I have always been driven to do games. So this was a really fun, fun webinar to create for me. The first one is increased productivity. There has been so many studies on how significant positive effect of gamification can work on the environment in your store. One study even found that using a gamified work experience led to 60% increased in training engagement, employee engagement as well. So that's something that I think is really great to know is just and especially because you guys are working with younger people. I think it's even more so because of that. The second thing I want to talk about is faster training and higher skill retention. So interactive and reward nature-based, you know, reward game-based nature really helps drive that excitement to be there, like they want to be there. And faster learning, greater knowledge, retention. Studies have shown that gamifying courses or your training can increase training completion rates by an average of 20% and can also improve your skill retention or their skill retention by up to 40%. So this could potentially benefit your guys' ongoing retention within the store and your team member satisfaction. Improved problem solving. So games require players to think and get creative or overcome obstacles. So this allows them to problem solve and think about, you know, ways to get around a problem. So this is making gamifying teams helps make that team dynamic, more problem solving oriented. And then the last one is a strong company culture. We know that Chick-fil-A does have a very unique culture. And I think gamifying really does add to that. It really does feed that culture and further allows your team to build that team aspect. So yeah, building that community is part of that. These are the things that I found. I'm sure you guys have seen other benefits of gamifying your team and your operations. So I've actually come up with my own three. And this is coming from someone that hasn't worked at Chick-fil-A, but I have ran it by Brian and Kevin who work on the team and have both worked at Chick-fil-A previously. And they were helping me refine and get some different ideas of would this work within Chick-fil-A. So I'm going to present those to you now and kind of explain to you the instructions of how it would work to use these games. At the end of the session, I will be adding a link to a blog post that allows you to download these files. So you're welcome to use them however you would like. If you would like to print them or do them online, either works great. But I'm going to show those here. So the first one is a lightning list. And the idea is to drive engagement on one click's checklist while also giving people the opportunity to really get into a competition type mindset and get rewarded for it. So the idea is, and there's a few different variations to this that I've added to that link that you will get. But you have two different teams. It could be like day and night shifts. It could be front of house, back of house. But basically every time that someone in that team completes a checklist and they get a five star review on it. So remember that a leader has to review a checklist in order for it to be marked as complete. So if they get a five star on that checklist, they get a lightning bolt in their box. So at the end of that time frame with the competition, whoever has the most lightning bolt wins and you guys can determine those rewards, whatever that may be. Whether it's a free lunch or moolah books or whether it's a pizza party, you guys can determine what works best for you. But I really like this because it does drive that engagement with our checklist and really pushes them to get those five stars because they're working as a team to get that. So I want to pause right there. Are there any questions about this game? I'm trying to keep it high level, but wanted to know if you guys have any questions. First about lightning lists. Okay, great. I am not hearing anyone. If you want to type those in the chat, that works great. And Brian, if you can just interrupt me if there are any questions that come up. Okay, awesome. The next game I have is the one click reward scoop. So the idea behind this is to give you a really fun, lighthearted way of getting your team to achieve goals. So the idea behind this is that each level is a goal and it's to a bigger goal. So for instance, the top one, maybe you guys want to, not very much fun, but maybe you want to deep clean the store. And the first phase is to do the counter area. The second phase is do the backup house. There's different phases to reaching that massive goal. So what you would do is you would download these, print them out, write in your goals and the different phases. And you would cut out these ice cream pieces, which I do have a little example right here that I can show you guys. So let's see if you can see in the picture, hopefully detects it. So you have it printed out. And as you complete the goals, it's not going to show it. You would add a ice cream scoop to the ice cream. And that lets them know they have completed that goal. And then you continue to add those ice cream scoops as they complete those items. It's just a fun visual, really gets the team engaged. It gets them working as a team to get to the top of that ice cream scoop to make the ultimate sundae. So this is a fun way to do that. If you have any questions, please put it in the chat. But I've tried to make these more broad so that really anyone can use them. Maybe the reward again here could be an ice cream, you know, something with ice cream, like everyone gets a free ice cream. But this just is a fun, unique way of doing that. And then the last game I have is called Level Up. I wanted to come up with a game that really incorporates our training system, which is one of our most powerful features and really encourages the team to do more training and level up in the store. So the idea here is that you would pick one or more of your positions in the store that need additional like depth with aces. And aces, just in case anyone doesn't know, we consider the aces to be those five-star people that have taken that course, that passport, they've been trained, and they are at five stars for that position. So for instance, let's say window needs a little more depth to it. We only have three in that position that are aces. We want to get ten. So I'm going to write window here on this position part. And at the top, I'm going to put seven because that is the difference between what we have and what we need. We need seven ace goals. So I'd also write in here the different marks. So I have seven marks here that basically allow them to fill in as soon as someone gets an ace. And then each position, you would do the same thing. As someone gets an ace in that position, then you can fill that in. You can even write their name next to it to celebrate them. And then you can see how they're building up to that specific position and really contributing to the success of the store. So this is really simple, really fun, and you guys can adapt it to what you need it to do and how to interact with it. But I just thought this was a really unique way of encouraging people to go take those passports, to really grow themselves and expand their learning and get better, progress at things. There may be someone that's at a four-star that all they really need to do is practice and get a five-star. So it could be really easy for them to get that extra point here. You could also do it where it's position versus position. So you could say, hey, there's three positions. Whoever gets the most aces in a couple weeks wins. However you want to adapt it, but just wanted to have this out there to encourage training. Okay, so that are my three game concepts. And just want to pause to see if there's any questions that have been posted in the chat or if anyone that wants to come. [Speaker 1] Okay, the lightning round, so Ruben, I see your question about the lightning. So the idea here is not necessarily to do them quickly, it's to do them with five stars, do them well. Your store is already doing checklists, and that's a task that has to be done by your store. So the idea is just to make it fun, make it lighthearted, you know, make sure that they're doing it well and not just doing it to get the completion on it. So the idea here is to get that five-star review, okay? Great, thank you. Perfect. Got it. Okay, so now what we're going to do is I'm going to break you up into breakout rooms, and we want to get your ideas of how we can add games to your guys' operations or how you guys can share your experiences with gamifying your store and team. What we're going to do is we're going to have two breakout rooms, and so Abby, we will not need that third room, but I am putting you in a room to help. We will be having Brian in room one who will help manage and moderate that room, and then we will have Kevin in room two to help moderate that room. The idea is that we're going to come together, you're going to put your heads together and come up with a fun game idea concept that you can present to the group when we get back from breakouts. The group that comes up with the best concept, which we will all vote on after everyone presents, will get, I will actually produce that concept, I will make graphics for it, I will do downloadable files that you can actually download straight from the blog. So we really want to see, and actually potentially we're looking at gamifying our app more, and so this could be the first step to gamifying the app in a really fun digital way, making it automatic in the app. So this is really that first step. Now when you get into your room, our moderators are going to ask for a spokesperson. This is the person that's going to kind of help direct the conversation, kind of make sure that they're driving and getting that concept zeroed in. I do want to suggest that you keep your concept very simple. People will not use this concept if it's complex, but I just want us to have fun and get creative, so yeah, that's what we're going to be doing for the next, let's see, it's, let's do it for the next 10 minutes. So what I'm going to do is go ahead and get these going here, make sure everyone's assigned. Okay, we have two rooms, I'm going to go ahead and open those rooms now. Okay, and then you guys can go ahead and jump into those rooms when you get notified. And good luck. Okay, and anyone that is staying behind likely isn't near their computer or cannot join a room, which is fine. You're welcome to stay here with me. I did keep a couple other people here with me. Reuben, I know you're here and you mentioned you'll be in and out, so you're possibly away from your desk, which is totally fine. So I'm going to pause the recording. Okay, everyone's going to be coming back here in one minute. Just getting ready. Okay, welcome back, Melissa, Brian, looks like room one's ready to go. Room two is still chatting. They're taking up a little extra time, which is fine. Okay, Brian, who is your spokesperson? [Speaker 4] Oh, I'm on mute. I was already talking. It's going to be Ashley. [Speaker 1] Ashley, yay. [Speaker 4] We don't have a super developed concept, but I learned a lot from Ashley. [Speaker 1] Oh, nice. That's great. Okay, here comes room two. Welcome, guys. Welcome back. Okay, we're just waiting on a few more to join us. Kevin, who is your spokesperson? [Speaker 5] Am I double muted? Am I good? Jojo is our spokesperson. [Speaker 1] Awesome. Okay, room two. Perfect. Okay, everyone should be back. Thank you guys for rejoining. So we have concepts, game concepts from room one. First, we're going to present with Ashley. Thank you, Ashley, for being the spokesperson. So if you want to come off of mute, if you could do your camera. I know some computers can't do camera. We're happy just to hear you as well. [Speaker 3] Yeah, so, you know, we didn't really come up with like a developed game necessarily, but we did kind of talk about maybe some ways that we can engage Back of House more when it comes to contests. At my store, we do a lot of contests revolved around maybe what our focus is at that time. So maybe selling an LTO or brownies benefits or we've done some car count goals and things like that in the past. So speed of service stuff. A lot of times Back of House gets left behind because they're not really involved in that part of it. So we just kind of came up with a couple ideas of maybe doing some sort of checklist completion contest, maybe between front and back of house. And after a week's worth of full checklist completion, the team could win a prize or what else did we talk about? Sorry, I'm losing my train of thought. You're good. Food quality. Oh, food quality. Yeah, food quality. So potentially like a, you know, we use ERQAs to measure our food quality on a daily basis. And so if we can get a week's worth of perfect ERQAs, then, you know, the teams involved could get maybe some mula or something like that. [Speaker 1] Awesome. Thank you, Ashley. It sounds like you guys had some really great discussions, especially engaging that Back of House group. If you guys are ever thinking and come up with new ideas along those lines, Ashley, in room one, the whole room one team, please let us know. We'd love to hear your ideas and potentially develop them for you guys. So room two, I have Jojo. Jojo, do you want to tell us your guys' concept? [Speaker 2] I'm going to be leaning on Kevin a lot on this one, but it's a pleasure to meet you all. Thank you so much for the hard work you do here at One Click. We use the app primarily for break compliance. We're in California, Rockland Station, Chick-fil-A. One of the ideas that we all sort of were floating based on the concept of was doing an a.m. versus p.m. competition where the completion rate, from opening to two versus two to close, whoever had the highest completion rate would win that day's contest. And I'm going to be also adding some of my own ideas as I represent the room. One of the bigger challenges as I represent my operator and also think of what other operators need is the backend communication. There's a lot of double entries. One reason why I'm okay with double entries and going into signal to input waste, going into the POS system to input waste, and going into One Click to input waste is where it's a bit redundant. But to run a contest on how well the team stays consistent with a streak of waste inputting. Food waste is a huge cost in our restaurant right now, and I shared a story where our fries in June was $2,600 worth of waste. We implemented One Click by July. We had realized a $1,600 savings, so we were down to $1,100 worth of waste. And that alone showed us within 30 days how drastically we can turn the ship around. My operator is phenomenal, Jason Dyer. He is a good steward of resources. And so when we can tighten things up a little bit, especially using One Click's waste option, I don't want to be barking up a wrong tree here, but it has been the best part of the app besides break running. So reading everything from a competition standpoint and gamifying it, if we could somehow gamify that, that would engage the team better based on a Grammarly streak or a Duolingo streak of having the hours completed. That would be phenomenal. And then also doing the AM versus PM. But I'll just say, Ashley, well done representing your room. You're hired. [Speaker 3] Thank you, Jason. [Speaker 1] You guys both did great. Thank you so much for that feedback. Food waste, I know that that is a big struggle with most stores, so I really love the idea of gamifying that. So, JoJo, as you come up with maybe some additional concepts with that, because I know that food waste is kind of something particular to your store, but I'm sure other stores are struggling with it too. I'd be curious, because you guys are inputting in three different locations, and so the issue with you is consistency in inputting in the three different locations. Is that right? [Speaker 2] Yes, it's redundant. And I'm going to agree with one of our amazing operators that's currently on the call right now. She mentioned in our room that you're doing a double entry. And so if it could communicate with Signal, that is the next level partnership. And if I need to make some calls to support center with you all, let's do it together. I don't have the answer, but I think that having the back end read with Signal and OneClick marrying them somehow would be a saving grace with the usability of the experience. Because you can gamify experience, but if it doesn't talk to another platform that you have to use, it's like, oh, we're adding another task. [Speaker 1] For sure. That makes sense, JoJo. And we would definitely make that appointment scheduled with you anytime. I'll let, I think Dan, yeah, Dan's still here. So, you know, we talk with corporate quite a bit, and we would love to be able to speak back to Signal. So we'll include you in any efforts on that if that is helpful. Great. So we have a couple of really good ideas. One of them is more geared around involving your backup house more, making sure that they're feeling involved and gamifying that experience. And then the second one is using checklists, having them do like a completion rate for checklists, whether it's that first shift versus the second shift. Those both are really great ideas. I think it's really fun. So what I'm going to do, I think some of the games I already have built do fit in with that. But if anyone has, maybe Kevin and Brian, if you guys have a specific idea of how we could represent it, I would love to build it for them and also share it. So just to wrap up, do we have any comments or suggestions? I'd love to hear any ideas or any additional discussion here. Great. So what I am going to give, unless there's anyone else, I'm going to give this link in the chat. This is where you can download the documents that I've already shared with you on those games. So you guys are welcome to go into our blog and download those. It's just a zip file. And please share it with other stores as well. We'd love for you guys to share the games across. But yeah, also any feedback that you have, we would love to be able to create that for you and also internalize it into our development is something that would be really fun. So just appreciate your guys's feedback and your support for One Click. If anyone wants to stick behind here for a moment and give us additional feedback on our features or how we can improve the app, please feel free to stick around. But otherwise, we're good to go. So if you need to head out, just thank you for joining. And we appreciate all your guys's support.
