Submit Feedback Through the Voice Matters Program
Type: How-To Module: Getting Started (bonus) Template: v0.5
At a glance
The Your Voice Matters program routes customer feedback directly into OneClick's development backlog. Submit an idea from the Shifts screen, upvote ideas others have shared, and track the ones you care about through Planned, In Progress, and Launched status changes.
Before you start
Any team member with access to the Shifts screen can submit feedback and vote on existing ideas. No special permission is required.
Before submitting a new idea, search the Feedback Forum to see if someone else has already shared it. Upvoting an existing idea carries more weight than creating a near-duplicate, because the most upvoted ideas are the ones that go straight to the development team.
Why this matters
Every major OneClick feature (Accountability, Training Ratings, Waste, and most recently Chat and Notifications) exists because of customer feedback. The program is the canonical channel for shaping the product. Feedback submitted here is seen by the OneClick team; feedback delivered through support tickets often does not flow back to the roadmap.
Steps
Submit a new idea
- Open OneClick and go to the Shifts screen.
- Tap the lightbulb icon near the Break Manager bar. This opens the Feedback Forum.
- Before composing, use the forum's search to check whether a similar idea already exists. If one does, upvote it instead.
- If no similar idea exists, tap Give Feedback and write your suggestion. Be specific about the problem the idea would solve and the context where you hit it.
- Submit. Your idea goes live in the forum and starts collecting upvotes.
Upvote existing ideas
- Open the Feedback Forum via the lightbulb icon on the Shifts screen.
- Browse or search the forum.
- Tap the upvote control on any idea you want to support. Upvotes are how OneClick prioritizes which ideas reach the development team first.
Track an idea's status
Ideas in the forum move through three published statuses:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Planned | The idea has been accepted and is in the roadmap |
| In Progress | Engineering has started building |
| Launched | The feature is shipped and available in the product |
You receive email notifications when any idea you have voted on or submitted changes status.
Common gotchas
You cannot find the lightbulb icon. On narrow viewports the icon may be hidden behind the Expand Info collapse. Expand the info bar and the lightbulb becomes visible.
Duplicate ideas dilute support. If five team members each write their own version of the same idea, the votes split across five posts instead of stacking on one. Always search first.
The forum shows Planned but nothing is shipping. Planned means committed to the roadmap, not in active development. In Progress is when engineering is actually building. Quarterly development updates explain where roadmapped ideas are in the queue.
Feedback routed through support tickets may not reach the roadmap. The Feedback Forum is the only channel that feeds directly into development prioritization. If your idea is important, submit it there even if you have already mentioned it in a support conversation.
