Scheduling is coming home

Everything you use HotSchedules for.Built into OneClick.

OneClick Q will be fully capable of replacing HotSchedules before January 1, 2027, bringing scheduling, labor intelligence, and leader-guided assistance into the operating system your restaurant already uses.

You do not have to replace HotSchedules. Q works either way. Keep HotSchedules and OneClick keeps syncing with it, or move scheduling into OneClick when you are ready. The timing is yours.

One schedule. One system.

Replacement coverage

The complete scheduling job, without a second operating system.

We are bringing the workflows restaurant leaders rely on into a single schedule and a single source of truth.

1

Build the schedule

Create, copy, revise, and organize shifts in one operating workspace.

2

Reuse what works

Apply layouts, dayparts, recurring patterns, and reusable shift structures.

3

Assign the right people

Match employees to open shifts using availability, role, and qualification context.

4

See coverage clearly

Understand labor-plan needs, gaps, and demand before the schedule is published.

5

Handle change

Manage open shifts, assignments, revisions, and the decisions after the first draft.

6

Work with Q

Ask for explanations and recommendations while keeping every decision with the restaurant leader.

Release timing and transition details will be communicated as capabilities move from development into customer availability.

Q’s read

Ask Q. Understand the plan.

Ask about scheduled hours and the labor plan. Q explains the totals and highlights where a leader should review coverage.

Q explains scheduled labor as a percentage of plan and identifies a daily hours gap without personal names

One underlying schedule

Start where the leader's question starts.

These are different perspectives on one schedule, not separate scheduling systems.

WHO

Employee-first

Balance availability, qualifications, restrictions, and existing hours.

WHEN

Shift and daypart-first

Build the coverage structure, then staff it.

WHAT

Position-first

Plan every role, station, and job that must be covered.

WHY

Need-first

Respond to training, readiness, ratings, and operational needs.

HOW MUCH

Demand-first

Compare forecast, labor plan, coverage, gaps, and tradeoffs.

Q can explain a gap, suggest an assignment, surface a training opportunity, or help compare labor tradeoffs. It does not become the manager.

Intelligence with boundaries

Q suggests. Leaders decide.

Q works across the schedule rather than creating a separate AI scheduler. It can help leaders understand what is happening and prepare the next action, while publishing, assignment, material change, and sensitive decisions remain with authorized people.

Our security promise

Protecting customer data is an architectural requirement.

Restaurant scheduling can involve employee information, operating performance, forecasts, training signals, and proprietary business context. OneClick intentionally designs Q to protect Chick-fil-A® information and every other customer's data.

✓

Customer boundaries

A shared technology platform never means shared customer data.

✓

Least privilege

Q follows OneClick roles, store access, permissions, and approved workflows.

✓

Data minimization

Only information needed for an approved task should be sent for model processing.

✓

Controlled access

Q uses specific product capabilities, not unrestricted database access.

✓

Operational accountability

Centralized configuration and usage records support verification and review.

✓

Fail closed

If identity, permissions, or an approved source is unavailable, Q limits or refuses the operation.

How Q uses AI

Gemini intelligence. Vertex AI governance. OneClick control.

1

OneClick Q

Applies product permissions, customer boundaries, approved tools, and restaurant context.

→
2

Vertex AI

Provides the governed Google Cloud path, identity, configuration, and operational visibility.

→
3

Gemini

Helps Q understand, reason, communicate, and form a recommendation.

Clear distinction: OneClick Q independently uses Gemini through Vertex AI. It is not integrated with Chick-fil-A®'s Gemini Enterprise rollout and does not imply Chick-fil-A® endorsement, corporate approval, corporate-system access, or data sharing. Any future integration would require separate authorization, security review, and technical verification.

Limited customer pilot

Help shape the future of scheduling in OneClick.

OneClick Q Scheduling is already being piloted by a limited number of OneClick customers. We are opening a small number of additional pilot spaces for stores ready to test real scheduling workflows and provide direct feedback.

Required for every pilot store: Your restaurant must upload its sales history in OneClick V4 before pilot onboarding can begin. This gives Q the historical operating context needed for labor planning, demand, and coverage intelligence.
That did not go through. Check your connection and try again, or email support@oneclickapp.com.
Pilot space is limited. Our team will follow up about readiness and next steps.
Your request is in.
Our team will review your pilot readiness and contact you with next steps, including the OneClick V4 sales-history requirement.

Straight answers

What customers should know.

Is OneClick Q integrated with Chick-fil-A®'s Gemini Enterprise rollout?

No. OneClick independently uses Gemini through Vertex AI in its own Google Cloud architecture. We do not claim Chick-fil-A® endorsement, approval, or corporate integration.

Does using Gemini mean customer data is shared across customers or with Chick-fil-A® corporate?

No. Shared technology does not mean shared data. OneClick customer and store boundaries remain in force. Any new customer-specific or corporate data connection would require explicit authorization and review.

Will Q make scheduling decisions for restaurant leaders?

No. Q can analyze, explain, and recommend. Authorized leaders remain responsible for publishing schedules, assigning people, and approving material changes.

When will OneClick Q be ready to replace HotSchedules?

OneClick is targeting full replacement capability before January 1, 2027. We will communicate release availability and transition guidance as each capability becomes customer-ready.

References to HotSchedules and Gemini Enterprise are provided for factual comparison and context. OneClick does not claim endorsement, partnership, or integration with those products or with Chick-fil-A® corporate systems.
